Sense of falling, reason understood
Forgetful mind, lost in the wilderness
Grasp your weapon of choice
…Angel Seeker…
Stand strong in the eye of this battlefield
Soaring in the sky/space a message
Trumpets will sound; mouths will fall silent
Body drift, minds melt
Taken now, to the mind of G
White pillar marble holding you up, see the symbols?
Unveil your sight, dear one
Come sweetly, softly, childlike
Sunlight now shines on your face and your soul flies high

Looking at the distant eclipse
The waves of purpose find their way to the shore
So too does the friendship of the sail
Taken to the desert the rainbow finds the wealthy heart
Bringing the culmination to fruition
Harvest the moon and feed a nation
Feather minded and kind hearted
Built upon stones of quartz, embedded in the watch
Guardians form protection
Singers sing and swans swim

I was introduced to Allan Rayman recently. I found his music and lyrical prowess genius. Creativity allows the reflection of self interpretation. Whatever you dissect as meaning or understanding takes the soul on a journey. Memories evoke the time traveler and dreams invoke a promise, and this is a promise made to you and you alone. Some critics will call his cryptic style hard to understand. Certainly not for everyone but those inquisitive minds will see the truth in a lyrical genius. Question is what have you promised yourself? I’ve made promises to myself and felt both the pain of breaking them and also the joy of keeping them. There is no truth without self reflection.
