I was introduced to Allan Rayman recently. I found his music and lyrical prowess genius. Creativity allows the reflection of self interpretation. Whatever you dissect as meaning or understanding takes the soul on a journey. Memories evoke the time traveler and dreams invoke a promise, and this is a promise made to you and you alone. Some critics will call his cryptic style hard to understand. Certainly not for everyone but those inquisitive minds will see the truth in a lyrical genius. Question is what have you promised yourself? I’ve made promises to myself and felt both the pain of breaking them and also the joy of keeping them. There is no truth without self reflection.

Infinite hums and tunes create…awake

Note the morning star and all it brings

Listen to the morning star as it rings

Like a Bell into the heart

Will is Just, determined and true

How does the heart feel?

How does one hear?

Different perspectives in the mind

May cause the dreamer to go blind

So always remember to keep your thoughts steadfast

The cup will overflow when you commit, believe

Waves will — continue to crash

Sunshine will continue to nourish

Create my friend

Awake my friend
