“Atlas the baleful; he knows the depths of all the seas, and he, no other, guards the tall pillars that keep the sky and earth apart.” Homer, Odyssey
Today I want to talk about the myth of Atlas; the primordial titan who held up the celestial sphere. We all remember hearing the stories of Atlas holding the whole world on his shoulders. There have been many essays written on Atlas and the symbolism therein. I want to shed some light on this myth.
In anatomy ATLAS (C1) is the first cervical vertebra of the spine.
The story of Atlas holding up the world can be compared to the vertebra holding up the sphere of the mind.
Atlas is depicted as meditating upon heaven and hell, meaning he studied the constellations. Through the understanding of both realms he could navigate through the universe. The universe can be compared to the sea.
“Titan Tethys was once married to Oceanus, whose translucent waters scarf the broad earth. Their child Pleione couples with sky-lifting Atlas–so the story is–and bears the Pleiades.”
Ovid, Fasti 5. 79 ff (trans.Boyle) (Roman poetry C1st B.C. to C1st A.D.)
His seven daughters can be compared to the seven seas. The term “Seven Seas” appears as early as 2300BC in Hymn 8 of the Sumerian Enheduanna. Atlas, the higher consciousness navigates through the portals of existence and bears the daughters of the Pleiades. Within the mind we also can compare his daughters to the seven chakras. The chart below depicts the comparison of Atlas’s offspring.

Take note of the chakra’s as they are the keys to the kundalini energy. Through meditation we can open these energy centers and tap into our higher consciousness. This is what the ancients taught about with the Kundalini serpent.

This is less then an introduction to this topic, I encourage you all to research these topics yourself. You will find keys.

Fascinating, and thank you for this. Interesting that yesterday in Calgary, Lee Carroll/Kryon lectured on the Seven Sisters, our starseeds, and that the Pleiadians still have a stronger presence in parts of Ayers Rock in Australia according to Aborigines. In Alberta/BC, there are seven water bodies as well corresponding to the seven Chakras, including Lake Louise, the etheric home of AA Michael. Most of these bodies of water or waterfalls occur on the mountain spine of the province, which is part of the Feathered Serpent that runs down the mountains through north and south America, culminating in Patagonia.
